Data & Privacy

A clear explanation of the information used for the Market Challenge.

What pupils provide

Pupils do not create individual EnrichmentOS accounts. The Market Challenge does not ask pupils for email addresses, home addresses, dates of birth or telephone numbers.

We collect a pupil's first name, surname, school, year group, challenge responses, confidence selections, optional survey or reflection responses, and participation timestamps.

Names are used so schools can identify pupil results and so EnrichmentOS can create personalised certificates and reports.

Who can see the information

Challenge results are available to the pupil's school and authorised EnrichmentOS administrators. School dashboards are restricted to that school's records.

EnrichmentOS does not send identifiable pupil data to AI services. Pupil data is not used for advertising or direct marketing.

Cookies and saved work

First-party cookies are used to maintain pupil attempts and school or administrator sessions. Unsaved answers may temporarily remain in the browser being used until they are successfully submitted or cleared.

Retention

Identifiable pupil challenge data will be retained for up to 12 months after the relevant challenge closes, after which it will be permanently deleted or anonymised.

Anonymous and aggregated statistical or benchmarking information may be retained after identifiable pupil information has been removed.

Data requests

Schools may contact EnrichmentOS to request access, correction or deletion of pupil data relating to their school.
